Jayendra helmed the affairs at N A Shah for more than 40 years prior to Cignas, focusing on strategy, Transaction Advisory, Family Governance and commercial negotiations. He has an established track record of delivering value to clients, driving growth and has advised leading Indian conglomerates, entrepreneurs, funds etc.

His commercial acumen has enabled him to negotiate various deals on joint ventures, investments, divestments, family settlements including matters of Family Governance. Jayendra also brings to life the reputation of the firm in fairness and striking Win-Win deals in negotiation and transaction advisory services. His love for travel and exploring/ experiencing new things allows to view challenges through fresh lens leading to innovative solutions.

He serves as an advisor and independent Director on the Boards of various companies providing strategic inputs on improving business profitability, competitive positioning etc. Jayendra is also the Director of Trans-Continental Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd., a boutique investment bank focused on special situations and private equity investments in mid-sized companies in India. Jayendra qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981.
